Turning a new leaf

There is a harmony in autumn, and a lustre in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been!  – Percy Bysshe Shelley

The leaves are quickly changing color and falling to the ground in waves. The air is crisp in the mornings now, the sun hangs lower in the sky and I’ve started to wear socks and boots again! With my free time suddenly free again and void of anything resembling a craft or requiring a glue gun, I’ve come to the realization that it’s time for a new hobby. I’ve been seriously considering taking up yoga for the better part of a year now and something about the change of seasons has got me itching to finally try something new. I’m so incredibly intimidated to sign myself up for a class by myself, but it’s either that or become so deeply entrenched into the fall TV schedule (hello my old friends!) that I’ll soon be in hibernation mode for the next 8 months and I won’t surface again until spring!

I’ve been checking out Bliss YogaSpa because it’s so close to my house that it would be hard to come up with reasons not to attend. I plan on dropping in this weekend and bombarding them with questions and then buying myself an introductory pass and giving it a shot! The worst that could happen is that I hate it. At least then I’ll be able to say that I’ve tried.
