I am so excited to attend PARKSHOW this Saturday night at West Edmonton Mall! PARK, which stands for PROMOTING ARTISTS, REDEFINING KULTURE, is a not-for-profit organization that supports up-and-coming creative entrepreneurs.
PARK organizes shows such as PARKSHOW for local artists to gain exposure and share their talent with the creative industry in Western Canada. As a gal that loves all things local and all things fashion, I support this fully! I can’t wait to see some of the artists featured this year, it looks like a great line up.
Each ticket purchased for PARKSHOW also goes back into funding other PARK initiatives such as PARKSALE (annual outdoor artisan market), PARKLUXE (luxury art and fashion show), PARKSHOP (pop-up shops featuring PARK-affiliated artist and designers), and the Emerging Artist & Designer Forum. It’s so wonderful to have a team of dedicated volunteers that work hard to foster growth in the Canadian fashion industry. We have a lot of home-grown talent that deserves recognition!
